Inspire Early Learning Journey is proud to participate in the Victorian Government’s 2025 Free Kinder initiative. Families enrolled in our integrated kindergarten programs (within our long day care services) can access up to $2,101 in annual fee savings, applied directly to their fees.

What Is The Free Kinder Program?
Families enrolled at Inspire Early Learning Journey can receive up to $2,101 in kindergarten fee savings each year through the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder program. This funding supports both 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten programs at approved early learning centres across Melbourne and Victoria, helping families access high-quality early education at Inspire.
What Is Early Childhood Service Funding & Grants?
The Victorian government is offering the Early Start Kindergarten funding program to help lessen the financial burden on parents when placing children in early learning kindergarten programs such as ours.
Eligibility Criteria
3-Year-Old Kindergarten in Melbourne
- Give your child the best start to their learning journey. Children can start 3-Year-Old Kindergarten if they turn three years old by 30th of April.
- To be eligible, your child must be enrolled in a funded 3-Year-Old Kindergarten program for at least two days per week.
4-Year-Old Kindergarten in Melbourne
- Our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program prepares children for a smooth transition to school. To enrol, children must turn four years old by 30th of April and attend a
- funded 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program for at least two days per week.

Families must nominate only one kindergarten provider to receive the Free Kinder Subsidy from the Victorian Government.

A signed declaration form is required at the time of enrolment.
How Much Can You Save?
Families enrolled at Inspire Early Learning Journey can access up to $2,101 in fee savings each year through the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder initiative. This funding applies to both three-year-old and four-year-old kindergarten programs delivered by approved early learning providers.
Families who attend both 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten at Inspire ELJ can enjoy over $4,200 in total savings across the two years. The contribution from the Victorian Government will appear clearly on your account statement as: “Victorian Government Free Kinder Offset.”
